The Together campaign was born from a simple but powerful truth: progress in global health only happens through collaboration. We set out to tell a story that honored not just Gilead’s science, but the human partnerships driving real change in communities around the world. The ampersand became a connective tissue for the movement.

Working hand in hand with Gilead’s doctor partners, we created a narrative that put faces and voices at the center—leaders on the ground who embody resilience, compassion, and relentless commitment. One of those voices, Dr. Seydi in Senegal, became a cornerstone of the storytelling. His work combating infectious diseases in West Africa represented the campaign’s heartbeat: science meeting humanity, progress powered by people.

The campaign transcended traditional corporate communications. By spotlighting authentic partnerships, we built trust, credibility, and emotional resonance with both healthcare professionals and the public. The result was a campaign that didn’t just highlight Gilead’s innovations, but celebrated the collective effort it takes to bring health equity to life.

Additionally, the campaign highlighted Gilead’s COMPASS Initiative® at Wake Forest University, which provides funding and resources to grassroots organizations working to address HIV in the U.S. South. This extension of the story underscored Gilead’s commitment to ending the epidemic by empowering communities, supporting local leaders, and building long-term pathways toward health equity.
